Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations
In the series of creating a motherland for our seniors, UMAS continued to celebrate every festival they used to observe while in India. Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival that celebrates the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the Hindu god of wisdom and success. Ganesha is known as the God of Wealth, sciences, knowledge, wisdom, and prosperity, and that’s why we remember him and seek his blessings before starting any important work. All our ADS centers celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi. All participants welcomed Ganesha with dancing and singing. Then they did Ganesh Sthapana, pooja, and arti, and offered prasad to Ganpati Bappa. All looked very happy and blessed.
