On November 29th, 2021, Illinois State Senator Cristina Castro visited the Schaumburg location at 1421 South Roselle Road. Senator was very pleased to see the seniors having a good time and enjoying their routine prayers, daily activities, healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack. During her speech, she mentioned that she is amazed at the work the management and staff are doing to keep the seniors happy and safe. She added that she will certainly recommend at the assembly for grants and other help for Universal Metro Asian Services to continue the brilliant work. In fact, she enjoyed the delicious meals which are cooked healthy and fresh every day at the locations. As she left, she emphasized that she was extremely satisfied with the work UMAS was doing to keep the seniors, happy, healthy, and safe!
