Diwali Celebration
Diwali is known as the “Festival of Lights” and is a Hindu festival celebrated all over the world. Festivities include the illumination of lights, candles, firecrackers, and Diya (clay lamps) to symbolize the victory of good over evil, inner light over spiritual darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. All our centers celebrated Diwali and Mrs. Kumar, Mr. Sagar Kumar, and Mr. Prashant Kumar performed the pooja at our Chicago location. A significant ritual of Diwali, ‘Annakut’, which means a mountain of food, was performed in our Schaumburg center. It is traditionally offered to God with over hundreds of food delicacies to celebrate the beginning of the Hindu New Year.
