What services does UMAS offer?
At UMAS, we provide in-home care services for older adults, including assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support. We also offer adult day care services for individuals who need supervision and engagement during the day.
Is transportation included?
Yes, we offer free door-to-door transportation for participants who qualify for our adult day care programs.
What do I need to work as a caregiver at Universal Metro Aging Services?
We are looking for compassionate and responsible individuals. You must be willing to care for older adults, complete basic training (provided by UMAS), and meet the legal requirements for employment.
No previous experience is required; we will train you!
How can I apply for UMAS services?
To apply for services, you can fill out the online form on our website or call us directly at 847-306-7606. One of our representatives will provide you with all the necessary information.
Which areas do you serve?
We serve multiple locations across Illinois, including: Roselle, Carol Stream, Elgin, Naperville, Chicago, Orland Park, Niles, Schaumburg, and Vernon Hills. You can find each office’s address and phone number on our Locations page.
Does UMAS staff speak Spanish or other languages?
Yes! We have bilingual caregivers and staff who understand diverse cultures and languages, enabling us to provide more personalized, culturally sensitive care.
