Senior’s performance on Ram bringing Sita home
Diwali Celebrations at IUVW, Streamwood with staff and seniors

Diwali is a multi-faith and multi-day festival which was joyously celebrated across India. Diwali is also a festival of lights, embracing traditions of reflection, appreciation, positivity, and the strengthening of familial, communal, and spiritual bonds. Annakut means a mountain of food. seniors of Schaumburg ADS celebrated Diwali, and New Year and offered Annakut to God. Every senior bought food for Prasad and offered it to God. They did Arti and ate a special lunch. They felt blessed because Annakut is a forum where spiritual aspirants can reaffirm their appreciation for the role God plays in their lives. They also performed a small skid/performance on Ram bringing Sita home and defeating Ravana.
